Experience
Mr. Tully conducts investigations as well as research in support of the firm's public interest litigation and on behalf of public entities in need of internal investigations into wrongdoing by employees and other controversial matters. Mr. Tully determines strategy and recommends investigative approaches, authors investigative finding reports, conducts witness and subject interviews and provides client advice.
Related Experience
Prior to joining Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai, Mr. Tully worked as a police officer for the City of Grand Rapids, Michigan for eleven years. As a Sergeant as well as throughout his career, he received numerous Letters of Commendation and Recognition Awards. His duties included managing a team of ten officers, in addition to crime scene technicians and medical support staff, supervision of investigations, and investigating allegations of misconduct for Internal Affairs. Mr. Tully also served as a liaison to the Watch Commander during critical incidents, and was a founding member of the Department’s Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Mr. Tully received his Bachelors degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1994.
