Experience
Mr. Kenley is one of the firm's non-attorney labor negotiators. He represents public agencies as a lead negotiator in labor negotiations and provides assistance in arbitration cases and compensation and benefits surveys.
Some of the projects Mr. Kenley has been involved with are:
- While Fire Chief in the City of Lodi, negotiated a five-year contract with the United Firefighters of Lodi after a one-year impasse.
- Lead negotiator for the City of Richmond in negotiations with International Association of Firefighters Local 188, Fire Management, Police Officers Association, Police Management Association and General Employees Unit – SEIU 1021.
- Lead negotiator for Yolo County in negotiations with Service Employees International Union Local 250 over a successor agreement for In-Home Support Services. Assisted in three arbitration hearings.
- Lead negotiator for San Joaquin County in negotiations with all Sheriff and Correctional Officer bargaining units.
- Lead negotiator for the City of Ceres in negotiations with all bargaining units. Advise and represent the City in grievance processing.
