Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai LLP (Public Law Group™) is proud to announce the addition of Scott Dickey and Nikki Hall to the firm’s partnership. Both Mr. Dickey and Ms. Hall have been with the firm since 2005 and have been invaluable in developing the firm’s diverse practice areas. As partners, they will continue to enhance and grow the firm’s ability to provide expert legal advice and services.
Ms. Hall joined the firm in 2005 after working for many years as plaintiffs’ counsel in employment cases. She has used her experience as a plaintiff’s litigator to adeptly advise and represent her public sector clients. Ms. Hall has also been instrumental in developing the firm’s investigations practice and has conducted over 40 investigations for clients, many of which involved highly sensitive matters and high-ranking officials. Ms. Hall’s labor and employment practice focuses on advising employers regarding their obligations under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Title VII, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). She also provides clients with training on these issues as well as harassment and retaliation prevention.
Mr. Dickey joined the firm in 2005 from the office of the City Attorney of San Francisco, where he was a deputy City Attorney. As an associate, Mr. Dickey has represented a range of public-entity and public interest clients. Mr. Dickey’s practice centers on government law, with a focus on writs and appeals. Mr. Dickey provides advice and litigation services to clients on governmental matters ranging from open meeting laws, governmental ethics, and constitutional matters. Mr. Dickey serves as the Chief Deputy City Attorney for the City of Richmond and was recently appointed to the role of General Counsel to the San Francisco Community College District.
